Ernestown Secondary School is located at approximately 44.3°N 76.7°W in the Village of Odessa, Ontario, Canada. It is 15 km west of the City of Kingston on Hwy 2.

Visitor Information Visitors are asked to report to the Main Office upon arrival. Students with visitors must complete a form available from the Main Office and submit it at least 24 hours in advance. Visitors are not automatically approved.
Parking Parking is available for staff and visitors on the west and north sides of the building. Handicapped parking is available at the front.
Student parking is available on the north east side of ESS at no cost. Parking spaces are limited.
Busing Busing is provided to students who live outside of walking distance to ESS (a majority of ESS students).
Since the 2002-2003 school year buses have a mixture of elementary and secondary students. Buses pick-up and drop-off students at two locations around the school; (a) at the back of the school by the gym exit (north side), and also (b) at a new pick-up and drop-off location on the southeast side of ESS (where the tennis courts were formerly located).
- Regular bus departure occurs at 2:40 pm
- Late bus departure (Monday to Thursday) occurs at 5:30 pm
Late Buses: Late bus runs are provided during the school year to allow students to participate in after-school extracurricular activities. Specific route information and times are posted in three locations around the school including outside the Main Office.
