Exam Period Guidelines

  • Attendance: Students should only be at school if they have a scheduled exam or are completing credit recovery/credit rescue with Ms. Levesque in the library.
  • Punctuality: Arriving late to an exam may result in reduced time to complete the final evaluation.
  • Travel: Vacations or travel should not be scheduled during the examination period.
  • Attendance Questions: Direct any questions regarding attendance to Ms. Hamilton in the main office.
  • Accommodations: Students with an Individual Education Plan (IEP) will receive their regular accommodations. Please connect with Ms. Burke in LPS (Room 102) to confirm details.
  • Exam Length:
    • Junior exams (Grades 9–10): up to 1.5 hours
    • Senior exams (Grades 11–12): up to 2 hours
    • All students must remain in the exam room for at least the first hour of their scheduled exam.
  • Cell Phones: Cell phones are not permitted in exam rooms.
  • Hallways: Students are not allowed in the halls during exams and must arrive at their assigned exam room 10 minutes before the start time. Students can report to the cafeteria or library if they are waiting for transportation before or after a scheduled exam/ interview.
